If you are planning to improve the appearance of your home look no further than Mike Parreno!
When my husband Greg and I decided to paint the interior of our house we had a few ideas about what we wanted on our walls but
our painted over fireplace desperately needed help. We had heard about Mike Parreno and decided to have him come take a look
and see if he had any ideas about paint choices and what we could possibly do with the fireplace.
What we noticed first about Mike is that he is not only a professional in every sense of the word, but he is also an artist. His ideas for
our home were spot on and we loved his every suggestion. Mike has worked extensively with interior designers and it shows. His
ideas were to create a flow from the front door to the back. All colors blend from room to room and his thoughts and suggestions for
contrasting colors were brilliant. We hadn't thought about anything more than one color throughout the house. Mike added accent
shades creating a rustic look which was exactly what we were going for.
His idea for the fireplace was to put a stain over it. Then with his skill and knowledge added different layers to create a terra cotta
brick that is stunning. That painted white fireplace is now the focal point of our family room. In contrast to that Mike helped us
choose a warm shade for the rest of the house and suggested which walls worked best for accent colors.
When Mike said he'd start at 8 a.m. he was at our door at 8 a.m. If he ran late he always called ahead of time to let us know. We've
had a lot of work done to our home and never have we left workers here without one of us being home. Not the case with Mike. We
trusted him completely and often both of us left to run errands. At the end of each day when Mike was finished he left every room
and work space spotlessly clean.
We are so happy with the finished result of our house. When friends and family come over they are amazed at the transformation.
To say we are pleased is an understatement.
